Le James: Historic Character Meets Modern Charleston
Tucked into Charleston’s historic French Quarter, Le James offers something refreshingly different from many of the City’s traditional wedding venues. Housed within an amazingly restored circa-1850 warehouse, the venue balances Charleston’s rich architectural history with a sophisticated, contemporary aesthetic, creating a space that feels equally at home hosting an intimate celebration or a grand reception.

One of our favorite things about Le James is its versatility. Rather than asking clients to fit into a predetermined style, the venue becomes a canvas for their own story.

Across three thoughtfully designed levels, every space has its own personality. On the first floor you'll find the swanky Polo lounge with a piano and soft seating and in my favorite space- the Le Soleil room has tons of natural light and lattice touches (you'll want to move in).

The second floor boasts an elegant ballroom and the third floor has the best rooftop space to have a ceremony or host your dance party.
They have the most elegant get ready rooms for both the Brides and the Grooms. No details were overlooked. Whether your vision leans romantic and timeless, clean and modern, or colorful and artistic, Le James has the flexibility to bring it to life.

From a floral designer’s perspective, Le James is especially exciting because of its architectural contrast. Historic brick, soaring ceilings, warm textures, and contemporary finishes allow flowers to become part of the overall experience rather than simply decorating it. We love designing installations that soften the industrial character of the building while complementing its historic bones, creating floral moments that feel intentional and unique to each celebration. We are obsessed with this space!

We were so honored to have been part of the Grand Opening of the Le James and to be one of their preferred florists!
Codi, Alyssa, and their team have poured it all into this project. Their hearts and hard work paired with their determination to go above and beyond in the hospitality space, I know will make Le James a smashing success.
