After-Hours Poetry Gathering at Roadside Blooms
Roadside Blooms invites you to an intimate, after-hours poetry gathering centered on community, creativity, and shared expression. This event is completely free to attend, and all poets and writers are warmly welcomed to read their work aloud.
Whether you’re a seasoned poet, a first-time reader, or simply someone who loves listening to words come alive, this space is for you. Our goal is to create a supportive environment where everyone has the opportunity to share their art, be heard, and connect through storytelling and language.
The evening will be hosted by Marcus Amaker, neighbor of Roadside Blooms’ and Charleston’s first Poet Laureate. Marcus will guide the night with intention, openness, and encouragement for voices at every stage.
- Free to attend
- Open to all poets and writers
- A welcoming space for community and creative exchange
We hope to gather many talented poets, writers, and listeners for an evening of honest words, shared experiences, and meaningful connection. Come as you are—your voice belongs here.
You're welcome to bring you're own refreshments
